I would like to know more about this area. I know it's a small town by NJ standards (about 1,400 people?)...the ex husband and his wife want to move to that area. Her mom is looking at property there and they want to be where her mom is. The ex's wife is in customer service for a mortgage company, and my ex is an EMT. We need to find out about jobs, schools (pre teens and teens in the house), and housing.

Thanks!

Any ideas yet? As long as the ex is able to stay in his line of work, they shold be fine housing cost wise. Any better ideas, areas, etc. in that area of Wisconsin?

Cornell is a good 1/2 hour to Chippewa, more like 45 minutes unless you plan on flying on River road. Then be sure you have wisconsin plates or they will run you off the road. Cornell is a cute town, I lived there a year and a half. Housing market was cheap, smell is a lil getting use to , but safe and quiet. I enjoyed it.
Chippewa Falls cost alot more and Eau Claire is busier and friendlier. Plenty to choose from. Lots of cute lil towns near by. Bloomer and Stanley are awesome.
