Hello, me and my girlfriend are thinking of possibly coming down to catch a packers game. What are the best options to find tickets and where would be a good place to stay? We're thinking about the Bears game, which I know will be packed and hard to get tickets. Is there anything to do in Green Bay as well? Thanks for the info.

Might want to check out Stubhub.com. Those tickets might be hard to find on there. Otherwise there is legalized scalping in Green Bay. It right next to the stadium, but I don't remember which street.

Don't waste your time on the Packer's, your better off driving or flying down to Chicago to watch a winning team!!! Okay my true colors are showing a little, I'm a bear fan. BTW green bay is a great place to watch a football game.

My husband always had good luck getting tickets online, however I don't know which site he use to use and he isn't here right now to ask. I believe he usually got tickets from season ticket holders that wouldn't be at that particular game. He has gotten some really good seats that way. The best time to buy is right after they lose a game.

We have never missed a game we wanted to see by simply walking up and buying them from other ticketholders at the stadium. In 2006 when the steelers came to town, it was a little touch and go because it was such a popular game but we still got 4 together. The only time we paid over face value was for a play off game (the game against the seahawks with al harris' TD in OT)

Scalping tickets is illegal in the City of Green Bay, however, scalping is permitted in Ashwaubenon, which happens to be right scross the street from Lambeau Field. I wouldn't recommend staying in Green Bay, mainly because the nightlife sucks compared to Appleton. I would recommend staying in a hotel in Appleton or Grand Chute, the Paper Valley Hotel is the nicest hotel north of Madison and Milwaukee. It's located right on College Ave, which serves as Appleton's nightlife district. Many bars in the Fox Valley operate shuttle buses that take you to and from Lambeau Field on gameday. I would look into catching a ride on one of those, especially since you can get drunk on the ride to the stadium.
