Nice to see everyone is so over it, as declared around page one.

Thanks for pointing out that the team is not the "Green Bay Brett Favres," TAB1452!
Do people forget how he hemmed and hawed, "I think I'll quit, No wait! I want to play..." ad naseam...

don't get me wrong...the man is fun to watch...he is a great football player...but he has changed off the field unfortunately...I think to be honest I hate him more and more because of the media and their love fest for him...and if you are looking at people who can't get over it I'd look directly at the likes of ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS and every local Wisconsin news station

Examine who it is that keeps stoking this thread -- that had, of course, been quiet for several days until you dug it up yet again.

Brett Favre will so as he does, what he is good at...being wishy washy and unable to make a decision!
He is a good player, but he is nothing that cant be replaced.
Figure the ViQUEENS need something of ours.

People get so worked up!! LOL!! Brett Favre does not belong to Wisconsin nor does he owe anything to you! It's not like football players are born and bred in the states they play in. Besided opening up a steak house, Favre has always resided in Mississippi. You seem to think because he played for Green Bay so long you own him, or he's now a Wisconsinite...please....

I would assume him owning a house in Wisconsin would mean he resided here...I think its HILARIOUS how often people drum up these things in their heads like Wisconsin people or at least PACKER fans just think about Favre 24/7 365 and we are just so frustrated hes gone...please...Favre fans and Favre haters will tell you that Aaron Rodgers is quite possibly the 3rd best QB in the league right now behind Manning and Brees...Favre's playing great...but I would take a million Aaron Rodgers right now before Favre just simply because Aaron's best years are ahead of him...I know I didn't help in this "plea" of sorts but SERIOUSLY...just give this whole Favre thing up...he's been gone for what a year and a half now? some people truly are over it...I am one of them...now hes hated just like I hate Ryan Longwell and I hate Darren Sharper and I hate Mike Mckenzie...not because they are ex-Packers who spurned the organization...I hate them because they are now the opponent...I just don't get how people can say "get over it" but then they insist repeatedly on bringing it back up...both teams are goin to make the playoffs...so basically they are back to being even keel again...Favre is having an amazing season...maybe the best of his career...hes got a chip on his shoulder now and he has a ton of talent around him...but Rodgers has faired just as well if not better with "less" talent around him...both are top 5 QB's in the league...both Favre and Rodgers got the better end of the deals and things worked out perfect for the both of them...I'd love to see a 3rd matchup in the playoffs at the Metrodome...it would probably be the best game of the year...I hope it happens and I'd love to see the Packers come out of that game as winners...but its pointless to argue anything about it until that game comes around...if it even does

It would be very interesting to see a late December or a January matchup in Lambeau. I know it won't happen this year but perhaps next year.
