I just moved out of Monroe County after living there most of my life and would not recommend Sparta or Tomah. There is a huge drug problem and the Monroe County Board cut funding for the drug court a few years ago. Taxes will skyrocket when/if a new jail is built. If I ever moved back it would be to Onalaska or Holmen. Good luck with your move.
