Unemployment "amount" ends before benefit year? (how much, calculated)

My unemployment "amount" is going to "0" before my benefit year dates is up. Im supposed to get benefits until 11/30/10 but in two weeks I will have exhausted the benefit dollar amount. Will i continue to receive benefits until the dates im supposed to or does it just end?

The money you receive from unemployment is not calculated by the benefit year. In Wisconsin you are elegible for 26 weeks of unemployment (this is not including if you are in a TAA program or on an extension then the time is longer). This is based on when you opened your claim and how much you earned the last benefit year. Your current benefit year lasts for 52 weeks after you opened the file. So, in short, even though you have time left in your benefit year you may not have any benefits during that time. However, if you have not done so you may want to call and find out about extended benefits, otherwise you will be out of benefits in two weeks and will not receive any unemployment compensation for the remainder of your current benefit year.
