I am flying out of the country on 19th of May from Chicago, but I have to get to Chicago first..do u guys know how I can get to Chicago? I heard there is a bus called Lamers, but I cant find any schedule info online......maybe bus..or train? I need help)) Thx.

There's a Lamers office in Wausau. Doesn't look like much in Stevens Point. Go to Greyhound.com to see the locations.

You may also want to see if the UWSP campus has a rideshare board. I know that other campuses that I've been on do. Or try craigslist they have a rideshare area.
Also call up rental car places they will let you take cars one way and since you are going from a more remote area to a major hub the price might not be to bad.

yea.thx. i will check out the rideshare board def...but i dont drive.so i cant rent a car...that would be much easier if i know how to drive

thx. i checked..but they dont offer any service for luggage...and i have two really big suit cases....

Why can't you take the luggage on the Lamer's bus? I went to Chicago on the Van Galder's bus and it was no problem to bring it along. Why wouldn't it be the same? Did Lamers tell you that you can't bring luggage?
