What are some part-time jobs to complement my full-time, 9-5 gig? Specifically, I'm trying find a PT job that would maximize money earned versus hours worked. Any suggestions?

The best thing to do is find a job that offers a great discount on the products they sell. For example I worked for Pottery Barn and Gap at one point and both offer 40% off their products. Pottery Barn has furniture so that is a very good discount and is almost better than making more money in a wage. You'll never be able to make that type of discount up in wages in a part time job. That's my advice.

^ That's pretty good advice but I'm trying to refrain from working weekends and I'm trying to be VERY frugal for a year or so so I won't be spending money on much except for basic essentials.

But yes, I'm currently working PT at Banana Republic making about $10.50/hr; the discounts are truly amazing!!!!
