By the way, there's an electronic equivalent of exchanging business cards! Just go to http://bu.mp and download the Bump App, and you can then Bump with other iPhones and Android phones and exchange contact info. Super easy, and kind of fun - especially useful at a party or conference, when you're juggling coffee or a drink and chatting, as you network!

I think business cards are here to stay for the foreseeable future, although I am guessing having a QR code/scan code on your cards will be the way to go. No CEO is going to put everyone's number into his phone right there, but if he's got easily scannable cards he can scan (or have someone else do it) those cards in when time permits IF it's someone he might want to contact. Otherwise, in the trash they go.
