This woman I know is on facebook bragging about having 4 jobs and she is so glad to be working after being laid off in April. She works the over night shift 12am to 8pm and then works during the day starting at 11am. And the two she makes her own schedule.
Why is wrong with people?-lol

She's grateful to have a job, works hard, I don't see the problem. You should be applauding her, not criticizing her. Maybe I'm missing something?

Working 4 jobs is CRAZY. Yes when She got the first job I congratulated her but what she is doing now is not healthy and makes no sense.

Your right, it makes DOLLARS. I think that's the point. It's very tough out there, and some people have to accept part time jobs. If you get enough of them and can make the schedule work, that is how some people are getting by.
If someone is young, then it might make sense to overextend yourself a little to build saving. You can't work like that when you get older, so might as well earn the extra income while you can. Also, money saved at a young age becomes much more money down the road if put into the right places.

I used to work 6am-2pm at a grocery store, then 7:30pm-11:30pm at a freight company. I slept my 8 hours 4 hours at a time, split up between the two jobs. Now I make more money in one hour of overtime than I made working the entire 12 hours back then, although I'm not upset I had to work that schedule. It keeps you humble, and makes you appreciate what you have now.

Maybe they are part time jobs? Since small time jobs rarely give 40hrs a week. In a recession/inflation period she's really earning her keep - why knock it?
