So I have about 2-3 weeks left of my probation at my dollar store job and I need some tips/advice. The cashiering part is going okay. I don't have the "forgetting to give back change" problem anymore. The only sorta problem I have left is the stocking.

I have some trouble "condensing" products on the shelf. If you guys don't know what I mean, I won't really get into it since what really matters is that I have some trouble with it. Actually, I'm not really sure if I have trouble with the stocking because the assistant manager was watching me from behind and I got kinda nervous and made my mind freeze a little. She then showed me how to do it, and then said I should know how to do it already since I've already been working there for 2 months (which isn't really long to me, but whatever...)

So how can I stop feeling this way? Should I just not look around to see if someone's watching me? If I do notice someone, should I just ignore it and pretend they're not there?

Also, does anyone know something about probationary periods that I don't know? Do they look at my time there as a whole to decide if they wanna keep me? Or would they look at how I improved during the last few weeks as a deciding factor?
