I think if colleges signed contract with companies to GAURENTEE placement people would be singing a different tune.
She had a good career run then we hit a recession. A recession is expected and guaranteed, as is everything that comes along with it. When we move onto the next business cycle, if she's still a stripper, THEN, there will be something to worry about. College did it's job for her.

Having just read two back-to-back biographies of two famous lawyers, Gerry Spence from Wyoming and Ellis Rubin from Miami, this doesn't surprise me in the least.

Their early poverty days out of law school, and what it all took to get established, was an eye-opener for me!

And I can clearly understand why some, without the stamina and endurance levels, opt out for something more lucrative.

I liked this story better. Especially since I can relate(deployed). I think this was part 2 of the same coverage.

At the law firm (from which I was laid off almost two years ago), there was an associate who kept the night job he had in law school - bouncer at a local club. The partners did not like this, but still didn't offer him more money.

Given the employment environment today, and all the abuses going on, why aren't they going to bat for some of these abused employees?

Noise Lawsuits, there's another field waiting to be explored or exploited.
A woman in FL sued one of these drivers of one of these loud, thumping boom cars going through her neighborhood.

Really no different with all of the "sugar baby/sugar daddy" sites that are coming out.

I live in Las Vegas where no one is what they do for a living. I learned early on to never make assumptions.

I have a crappy part time retail job and one of my co-workers is...a lawyer. Yes, it happens!

I love naked dancing women as much as the next guy..but on average I may hit a strip club once or twice every two years...and only spend like 30 to 40 bucks. What sort of guys hit these places all the time is beyond me....but if they got it spend then I guess they should continue to invest in this sec. What about all the internet web came girls? No telling what field they used to be in. I used to drive taxi cabs in philly back in 2008 - 2009 when I got laid of and I had one of those web cam/stripper girls that said she used to be in the housing market doing paper work or something. She admitted she made more money on her web cam then she did at stripping and stripping made more than her office job. Sex sells I guess.
