We are eligible for a quarterly bonus throughout the year. When I first started working here, they provided a detailed breakdown of how we were paid for each one of our metrics. I think I received two of them since starting here two years ago. I haven't seen one since. However, I'm still being paid a bonus, I'm just not sure if I'm being paid the entire amount due to how they structure the payment schedule. Also, I would like to know if I'm hitting all of my KPIs, which they have not advised us on either.

Do I have a right to know how I'm being paid on these bonuses? Am I in the right to ask management about it?

No reason why you shouldn't ask in a non combative way. Your main thrust should be not "am I being paid the entire amount due" but that you found the KPI data very informative for evaluation purposes.

Definitely in the right, but do frame it properly. Something like the above, or "have there been any substantiative changes to the bonus matrix since the last one I received in 2011?"

My husband has to ask about his bonuses or he'd never get them. Like people said, ask pleasantly and in a non-combative way and there shouldn't be an issue.

Yes, good to ask.

These days, companies are so dynamic and "in the flux", that they probably have not had time to keep up with the KPI's.
