So I recently recieved a contingent job offer and I'm currently waiting for my drug test results (which I already know are negative) and employment verification. I'm worried about my employment verification because I stated on my application that I worked a seasonal job at Big Lots for three months when I only worked ther for about 2 and a half months. So my question is will this be an issue? I should also state that the store I worked at closed down

You should be okay. You just rounded up a few weeks.

You'll probably be fine. It was a seasonal job and unless all of your past employment has been seasonal, it probably isn't the bread and butter of your experience.

I'm sure they'll be able to verify that the store closed and contact corporate or something if they need to do anything further.

2.5 weeks or 3 weeks is the same thing- relax.

I mean I don't write things like start date 10/25/2007, end date 03/16/2008, I just put 10/2007 to 03/2008, it's rounding, it's fine.

Really. Who can remember their exact dates of employment anyway?
