I got a phone call from this company inviting me to an interview at the Hyatt off of Windy Hill Rd.
Supposedly they help people deal with their insurance company regarding their homeowner claims as an advocate.
I told the woman that I had no insurance exp., and she said exp. was not needed, they would train.
I did not apply to this company, and it smells like a scam to me.
Has anyone else heard to this company? Metro Public Adjusters?

Personally never heard of them, but after doing a Google search, they are a real company. Also, the position seems to be commissioned based with a lot of cold calling required.

Theoretically, you really don't need much experience in the insurance industry - but it would make for a REALLY long learning curve. Most PA's have years of claim experience or construction experience, etc.

Metro is known for a "churn and burn" mentality. You have to source your own leads (people w/ insurance claims), sign your own clients and negotiate the process.

Having no industry experience, you're set up to fail from day one, unless you're an extremely quick study and can hop from hail storms to hurricanes to tornadoes to chase down business.
