I graduated with a sports manamenet degree in August with only one internship(in sports) and a few other jobs but simply cant get anything either in sports or not. Just looking on any advice with this degree because im starting to think it was a complete waste. Either sports jobs think I have no experience or non sports jobs probably think this degree is a joke. I really need to get a job but havent had any luck yet.

Can you inquire about jobs with the major sports leagues (assuming that's still what you want to get in to)?
I imagine you can apply your education to another general business field. I would keep your options open and check into other fields. If you're willing to bust your butt for little money at first, Enterprise Rent-A-Car loves management degrees for their Management Trainee program.
What career track did you have in mind when you decided to major in Sports Mgmt in the first place?
I'd look at it as another Liberal Arts degree since the curriculum is pretty generic.

To the enterprise comment , I tried that route and then after reading alot of reviews , backed out . It just seemed like a nightmare and not what I think I would be into.ALso , you would think what you said about general business would be correct considering if any employer saw my course load , its literally almost identical to a business degree , but I think for some reason people just think its a joke major.
To the person saying connections , thats my biggest problem , I have none.

I don't blame you about avoiding Enterprise. It's kind of a crappy gig, at least starting out. My buddy has been working there for four years. It wasn't until he got out of rental that he started to feel better about working there.
Try going through some temp agencies as well. Robert Half helped me out when I first started looking for jobs post-college. Kelly Services is another popular agency.
I always see robert half posted ads for jobs..not sure if you mean that or they actually help you geta job.
They are a temp/staffing agency. Check their website out. Find their local office closest to you and give them a call. If they have positions available, they may have you submit your resume and come in for an interview. They'll try to match you up with a position that one of their clients is trying to fill. This is how I initially got started out when I move across country.

Ok, the people who I know who got jobs out of college in college sports were people who had graduate degrees in sport management (and also had internships), people who had degrees in athletic training, and people who had degrees in exercise science.
If you're set on working in sports, going to a LARGE four year university for a grad degree may be a good option because you can network more there. If you're into football, go to a football school. If you're into basketball, go to a basketball school.
I graduated this year and didn't go to grad school right away because I didn't really care where I worked, I was just interested in getting a foot in the door to a career. But if you're set on working in sports then you may have to go to grad school just to get your foot in the door. I'd look at programs that have internships and good networking opportunities.
Edit: I also know film and photography majors who got jobs in sports, idk if that interests you at all.
