I've done a search, can't find anything.
If a company acts as a consulting firm for construction, what would a salary range be? There are people who do the testing in the field and there are management people. It's a company that deals with water infiltration. Any ideas?

Try "engineering" consultants.

Sounds like something an environmental consultant may also be able to do.

.....that just sounds like a normal engineering firm. I've never heard of anyone called a 'construction consultant'. Water infiltration of what type of structures?

I think any type. Residential or commercial. They go over drawings, site plans, etc and make recommendations to them if they see any possible issues. Building envelope stuff. Then later (the way it was explained to me) if a storm brings high winds and water gets in because of natural events, not bad construction, the contractor has the consulting firm work and evidence to fall back on. I'm not really explaining it well. It's all very professional.
