What will be a decent job for a full time student? I need to find something flexible that can work around my school schedule.

Best job I had while going to school was as a library clerk. I worked evenings and weekends, and they loved having me available for those shifts, because the full-time staff hated working them. It was a win-win.

Try and find something in your field because if you don't have work experience when you graduate, you will have difficulty finding a job.

Both of my sons worked for companies that allowed them to set hours around their school schedule. Businesses in college towns willing to hire students understand they need to do this.

Try bank teller job near your school. Go in to the branch and ask to talk to the manager and see if they are hiring part time. If so, ask them what's the name of the branch, so you can apply online. Keep in mind, you cannot hand them the resume and expect an interview, that's very unusual. However, if they take your resume and decide to hire you, that would be great.

See what your campus' student employment office has available.

Thanks, I have spoken with my adviser and several professors and our campus employment office. Unfortunately there is not that much around here and applied to everything that this city has to offer. The only bites that I have been getting is in other cities and I have several offers in California and one offer in Tokyo ( I am aiming for the Tokyo job).

Right now, I am after something that will be flexible with my school schedule, and most 9-5 gigs I have applied for would not work out. It barely works out with my current Job, but starting Fall, my schedules will not work out.

I am studying Telecommunications, but I have considered learning a DB language such as SAS, SQL, etc. and telecommute like my friend does, but I honestly do not know where to begin, and I do not want to take more classes on top of my current load.
