I work every Sunday, but not any Saturdays unless OT which I hate.
My DH happens to have the same schedule (happy coincidence) and since we have no school kids, we don't care.
We both work in warehousing, we work ten hours shifts 4 days a week, Sun-Wed with Thurs, Fri, Sat off.
Honestly it's nice to have a couple week days off instead. Easier to get things done, less lines and crowds, etc. No having to use paid days or vacation days for doc appts, stuff like that.

My current job requires me to work the occasional weekend, 1 in 5. A lot of people here complain but I used to have to work not just weekends but antisocial hours and Christmas Day, New Years' Day etc

OP forgot the option of part of the weekend. I work Saturday mornings. They often run into the afternoon. It's not a big deal at all.

I have to work about 10 hours minimum on the weekend to keep up with the requirements of my job. Not officially required, but if I didn't do it, I would end up losing my job.

I'm a freelancer, and I work weekends a little more than half the time. I take a day off during the week pretty often, though, so it balances out.

I'm working part time in a sales position and work every weekend consistently. I actually prefer to work weekends and have weekdays off, I get more done that way. Though having Sunday's off would be nice.
