Just before the recession of 2008 I started to screen out financial sector. It simply was unacceptable, the people I was dealing with...
So now I have nothing to do with em and happy with life and career. the problem is I keep getting harassed. They are calling my phone, they are spamming my email, they are even bothering me on LI.
I have not looked for a job for a couple of years, yet once or twice a week I get annoyed with a job I have been going out of my way to avoid for a decade.
How can I get this fiance department to stop harassing me?
It seems clear to me. The OP is getting constantly bothered by recruiters for finance jobs. The short answer is you can't other than change your phone number and email address.
I still get harassed by staffing agencies in my field and since I'd rather gargle concentrated acid than ever work or even deal with a staffing agency ever again I just don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number and ignore their emails. Even if you put I will not deal with staffing agencies for myself or I will not work in finance for the OP the recruiters will still call if your resume shows up on a search and once it is out there it is like smutty pictures they never go away.
What's the big deal? I'm an O.T. and get calls from recruiters all the time (they get the list of people holding license in the state). I just let it go to voicemail if I don't recognize the number in my phone. Talk about First World problems, many folks are desperate for even one job. Just stop answering unknown callers, simple.
Forward these requests to your friends or other people in your network who are looking for finance jobs.
