Hi everyone, I just want to know if you are, for the most part, the same person at work as you are the same person at home. I can say unequivocally that I am the same at work as I am at home. Is that bad? There might be some slight differences, but for the most part I am the same person. Thank you for your time. You have a great day now!

At work I'm a manager, and at home my wife and I are more like partners. I don't give her assignments or orders. If you are talking about things like demeanor, helpfulness, motivation, and ethics, I'd like to think I am the same.

I think there is a bigger difference with managers because you are expected to act a certain way at work. Lower level employees are pretty much the same.

me, just depends on the day. If im happy at work, i go home happy and life is fun..play with the kid and do things. Work is terrible, than go home all ticked off and dont want to be bother. I know its bad, but i find it hard to wind down after dealing with stupid and nothing gets done. Not my family fault, but best to let me be.. anger management is my downside.. doesnt take much to pss me off these days with all the stupidness.

I am a totaly different person at work. I am very submissive and conservative.

Happy, always in a good mood, positive, tame, never a bad word, never a sexual word/joke, no cussing, not too funny.

My real mood and personality comes out the moment I come home. I dont know why. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it is bad.

Interesting point! I probably would agree with you on that except for I think my maturity level would transition over into my personal life, so I don't know maybe I would be the same???

I work in a toxic environment. Most people suppress who they are to survive, me included. My coworkers have this extremely warped idea about who I am, which is hilarious. I'm sure if they described me to people who REALLY know me they be like, "You sure we're talking about the same person??"

Thanks for your honest hitpausebutton. I'm like that too if I absolutely know I am in the right, and I am getting punish for it. I wouldn't necessarily call my situations stupidness but just ignorance.
