Is there something else you can within this company? Answering the phones, running deliveries, anything like that? If so, maybe you could suggest being moved.

I don’t see any harm in looking for something else while you still have a job there. Just don’t pick something requiring good fine motor skills or a gentle touch.

If it has been two weeks and you are not producing, you should start looking for something else. You do not seem to have an aptitude for this.

Okay thanks. It's just when I use the saws and drills, it's very hard not to scratch. I think a lot of it has to do with the glass itself but maybe the tools as well, but not sure.

It may be difficult, but the expectation is that you do not scratch, and according to you your coworkers do not scratch. Unless you can start to produce satisfactory items, and appear to be on a track that you can eventually match your coworkers productivity, your employment is going to be under scrutiny.

Okay thanks. I have been able to a few in the last few days as I guess I am getting better but still feel like I am not doing well overall. The tools in those videos are different than the tools we use, so I feel I cannot relate as much. The drill often jams though, which I find hard to work with, and that is a huge problem, but I will try to get better.

Well the boss has been really under scruntiny with me now, watching me for the past couple of days, almost the whole time, and whenever I make an error, which is at least a few a day, he is getting really frustrated using more fowl languages now. What can I do? Am I just dumb, or is this really a job that you need to have years of practice to master, like some professions?

I think you do need years to perfect some skills, but if the company is not willing to do that, you may have to look elsewhere.
