Wondering if this is a compulsion/OCD.
Basic training puts a lot of pressure on you by nature. You have to think fast, react fast.
Who knows? You might thrive! Or you may have a meltdown. What's it worth to you? If you want something badly enough you can do it.
Seems you'd have to withhold info about your mental health. You might avoid a job that arms you up.

It's definitely not for someone in your situation. I've been on and off anxiety and depression because of losing both of my parents in college. I would never dream of joining the military because of that.
Look into Job Corp. or a training program for a trade.
You cannot join the military be cause of your lack of formal education, nor are you a desireable candidate because of your mental health issues. The military is simply not for you. Get a basic education, and see what type of mental health services your county social services office has available.
The military isn't what it was 25 years ago when they would take almost anyone.
The military is picky.
OP I'm afraid you are not cut out for the military.
Get your GED then go to a Tech School and learn a trade. Plumbers, electricians, etc make fantastic money. Learn a trade and have a good life.
