Unfortunately not in USA, but the EU.
Polish game devs called out their employer and the board for implementing unreasonable deadlines.
The gaming industry is known to have poor pay and indentured servant conditions where devs can work 100 hour (7 days) weeks or be axed and quickly replaced with the next young inexpensive inexperienced chump who wants to be a game developer.
However, great to see push back and employees unified and assigning the blame with management. They can't fire them all. Otherwise who will fix the bugs in the 12th hour?
Consumers are pissed. This profit over people environment won't last much longer hopefully in USA either. I hope executive pay is gutted and workers are paid OT.
This could have been prevented.
