An awful lot of OPers disappear (post and run) on C-D, I've noticed...

Maybe you can return, OP, to at least let us know if you're looking for a job working alone for now & then building a career... or if you're planning on using your savings, which you said would last 4-yrs, to go to school?

Any ideas on which way you're headed, OP?
I'm tilting towards the radio tower gig with my ex neighbor friend of mine.I usually don't like to post too much on threads I start unless someone needs me to clarify something.I responded to a post earlier on the thread but I generally don't like injecting myself into the discussion if it's not needed as I am more interested in what the posters have to say.peace...

That's cool, no pressure, but it's always appreciated when an OP gives feedback... I usually add updates to all my threads that I've begun, since I'm asking others for info. We all appreciate that... just an FYI. Thx for replying.

Way back in the thread, someone mentioned doing just that & I think it's a great idea. It makes the most sense as a first step... an apprenticeship is a wonderful thing to be offered.

Good luck TLV. I hope everything works out for you & sets you onto a fulfilling work path.

If you feel inclined, please update down the line to let us know how things have worked out for you. Believe it or not, strangers are pulling for you.
