I guess I'd sort of fall in that.

I'll probably end up just a bit under $100k in total income this year between my regular job and crypto. I live in a low cost of living region in TN.

Financially, I'm doing alright - I have a bit over $100k in retirement savings. I just bought a heat pump in July, so that depleted a lot of my savings. House payment is $675/month. Car payment is about that - ended up having to get a car last year that was not expected.

It takes a lot to live. I wouldn't feel comfortable on anything less than $50k or so.

Unfortunately, I'm not a HENRY.

I'm a SENDER---Small Earner, No Debts, Eventually Rich (I make this up)

OP, how will you ever be rich when you don't even want to work at all? (From your other thread, https://www.city-data.com/forum/work...ay-work-i.html )

Someone making $100K/year is making $64K above the median for individual personal income in 2020.

Here the median family income is $168,000, and the median home price is $1.39 million. Someone buying a house at that price on the median income is not going to be rich by any means, possibly even struggling with the house payment ($6,000/mo) and $13,000/year property tax, close to 50% of their income before utilities and maintenance.

Why? Imagine a 26 year old that just started making $150k, but lives in San Francisco and has $50k in student loan debt.

The fact that that individual doesn't have a networth of $500k already makes them dumb?
