Tell him to come work in Montana. the pay is a little low but, the bosses are generally chill, PSI deadlines are usually decided by the PO and caseload depending on which city(town) you work in never really exceeds 100. Also, we leave work at 5 every night no matter what. There are some extra hours and inconveniences that pop up but, that is usually exception rather than the norm.
