Yep.

I worked in the automotive industry for 20 years, then transferred over to the aerospace industry. It's been 5 years now, and I see the same things happening.

I don't know about you guys, but at 48 I feel like a little kid in my work environment. I am usually in the youngest quarter age group in the room - most people are older than I am. Seems like most guys (and they're almost all guys), are in their 50s and 60s.

I guess that's good as the demographics points to job security as these guys retire.

same here and I'm 29. Cant wait for the fogeys to finally go...

No kidding. Funding for two of our programs have been nixed, and that's for FY2010 as well. We're hurting. Down to half staff from the beginning of this year.
