Moving from DC to Anniston AL, VP in banking but would need ideas, would like non profit...help. (background, Alabama)

I'll be transplanting to the Anniston area from DC due to husband's orders to the Depot. I will join him after Jan.. My background most recently has been in banking tho I would really like to get into something else possibly non priofit. I'm looking for suggestions from folks that know the market and the areas around Anniston. I've strong client servicing expierience, worked 10 yrs at Nat'l Wildlife Federation in member services, last 6 yrs in banking.
