Do I have to join a union to be a pirate, Sheesh, they get caught and get let go, I cant even beat a speeding ticket here in Phoenix.

Pirating is dangerous work, just like selling drugs. Your scariest worry are your competitors than law enforcement.

I prefer to be on the right side of the law if possible, since I try to avoid danger than invite it.
Perhaps they need a MAP mothers against Pirates as in MADD mothers against drunk driving and MAS, mothes against speeding.

I thought it was hilarious last week when Hillary Clinton said something about freezing pirate assets.


That implies they have some kind of investment portfolio in the US? Pirates have assets?!

Might be a better gig than we know.

I imagine the people at the top of the pirate business have investment portfolios or accounts outside of the anarchy of Somalia. It's not a few teenagers with AK-47s who own and run the "mother ships" that get the littl boats and young foot soldiers out into the open waters.
Failed states offer so much opportunity for nefarious activities and politics, in fact, the only way to survive in such might be those activities.
All you need for a criminal HQ or terrorist training camp is a relatively small enclave where no one bothers you. Afghanistan/Pakistan is only one area. Somalia and so much of North Africa and Yemen and and...
