Hello,

I was thinking of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for an agency in N.J. However, I have not found much demand for ABA therapist in North Jersey. The one agency who I contacted is not hiring, the other agency that hired me has work down in Passaic Park. I'm going to be finished with my masters degree in September and trying to decide what kind of certification I would like to get.

I've heard there is more work in South Jersey in the Cherry Hill area. There are two agencies I found in the Cherry Hill area. And another agency in the Marlton area.

Yet, it would be nice to hear from people in the field. I've though of only working for an agency and working part time. Is this possible are do most BCBA's work full time?

Just as you mentioned, there are a lot if ABA jobs in South Jersey. The best places to go are group homes with the developmental disabled. They are always hiring and are plentiful, in competition, in South Jersey as well. Good luck!
