My boyfriend was talking about doing some of the testing at a medical research facility for different things. He showed me the website and it looks like you can make a lot of money of off it? Has anyone tried a place like this and how was it? Any bad effects afterwards?

Well, the last one I looked at was advertised for a week or more in France. Unfortunately, at that time I smoked and so, was not eligible. Otherwise, I would have done it at in a heart beat. It involved going to new york, taking a physical and then going to france.

I know 2 south african guys who did it philadelphia. They were paid volunteers at the sleep clinic. They would stay over night and therefore would get paid 200 or more.

The infamous study of african american males who were given placebos who had syphillis back in the 50's is a well known paid volunteer study.

If you live in a city with research hospitals or research companies, there are always paid volunteer studies going on.

Just use your common sense. If you don't have enought knowledge to use your c/s, then ask your family doctor if she/he would let her child do it.

good luck!

It's not actually a "job." Plus it lasts a limited amount of time. I doubt anyone could make a career out of participating in medical research experiments on a continuous basis because even the places that do market research (NOT medical) do not want a "career guinea pig" and state that you cannot take part in their surveys if you had done one within the past year or two.
