Hi all,
I am applying for a job at Aaron Brothers Inc. as an overnight team member, it's a part-time position unloading and stacking up frames (yippie!). Honestly, I need the extra $$ at the moment bad and so I am resorting to this but clearly this is one of those times where "honesty is not the best policy." So how can I properly fill this answer?

By the way it's a Michaels store affiliate because the question calls themselves Michaels not Aarons Brothers.

Thanks for your help!
Kalila

Just be upfront about wanting another job for extra pay. Make sure you are clear on your availability because retail jobs usually require you to have a flexible schedule for the times you want to work, and be prepared to work all weekends. You would only be part time and they know you aren't trying to make working at Aaron Brothers a career path. You won't get many hours anyway, but if you get the job, just work your a-- off.

I once got a job (the best one in my whole life) at age 20 at a PBS station because I was too blue collar and too young to know enough to spout some B.S. The woman told me I'd be bored at the job because I was too smart for it, and I said, "Gotta eat." I think she was charmed by my barbarism. I mean, most people go in there with multiple degrees and pour on the meaning of life at PBS.
She sent me on to take an English test despite my lack of degree, and I got the job of my young lifetime.
I would *never* say now, "Gotta eat."
Oh, and I think she was charmed by my mention of "jobs in restaurants, factories, and groom at the racetrack." Everyone always asked about that last one.
