Actually I think there is already a one world government and one group ruling over everybody.
The financial world dictates the rules for everybody, for individuals, nations, etc.
There's bound to be a limited world government fairly soon, I think. How can we go on with this present madness of invading other countries for oil and so on, and telling Blairish lies to everyone? it makes no sense.
Since the US has more or less disintegrated and lost just about all influence in the world, other blocs are necessary to counterbalance China and (soon) India.
Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia seem like natural blocs, even though only Europe is getting its act together so far. Africa needs a bloc, but it will take a long time unless a charismatic leader emerges.
