PHILIPPINES

I've spent a lot of time there.

Enormous Latin influence in the Philippines...hence the music fascination there, the latino-like qualities - everything.

Plus, they are speaking Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines. It's actually pretty typical of most Filipino TV.

Tiger Beer, even though I don't speak Tagalog, I guessed the Phillipines for the other reasons you suggested. I went to Clark Air Base several times during my USAF service.

My thought was that it was the Philippines because other than the principal language being used, there were snatches of English, plus there were Spanish names involved and the appearance of the people was Asian...and the only place I could come up with that fit this mix was the Philippines.
