Am curious for an internationl perspective perspective as to which of these cities would be most recognized internationally as influential for culture, economics and pestige. And also why (Not the biggest in the US but the next tier).
Atlanta
Dallas
Houston
Philadelphia

I would say none. But if I have to choose among those, then Philly for culture. Economics and prestige, not really internationally significant.
If I really need to pick one, then Dallas.
california is my vote
I mean beverly hills is pretty prestigious area and the hollywood celebs that live there are pretty influential around the world.

I say Houston because of the oil industry. I know where Atlanta, Dallas and Houston are located at, but i had to ask wikipedia where Philadelphia is.
Of course I´ve heard about Philadelpha before, but I do not recognoize it as a city of culture, economics or pestige.

I'd say the most influential city in the USA is New York City.
Of the cities in the list mentioned older people will probably recognize Dallas from the TV series of that name.
Really, I'd say none. IMO, the only secondary US cities with significant international representation are DC (obviously) and Miami (mainly in Latin America, but also Europe to a lesser extent).
Out of these cities, I will say Houston because of the oil industry and NASA (Houston, we have a problem). Don't forget Yao Ming (China) plays for the Rockets, too. Then I will say maybe Philadelphia because of its history and being very close to NYC. Then after that, I will say maybe Atlanta because of the (horrible job) of hosting the Olympics. I'll say Dallas at the least.
