Or at least have the option to take classes taught in English and not in Ireland or England.

I'm 22 and I have yet to attend college but did well in high school here in the states. For the past couple of years I've been working as a contractor in Iraq and managed to save around $50k and I am ready to start looking for colleges for next year. Been lucky enough to travel I've decided that I would like to study in a different country.

Learning a language doesn't seem like it would be a major issue for me. Picking up languages seems to be easy the more I'm around them although I'm not fluent in anything else except English having worked around many nationalities I can speak passable Hindi, Tamil, Arabic and Macedonian (heh).

Anyway, I was looking up several schools that offer the English language courses that I am looking for (International Business with a focus on communication or marketing). I've been browsing around online for a while but I don't think that I'm using the right keywords in Google since it's not bringing up the results I want. Anyway, I've found the following that have generated some interest and I would appreciate any info on the schools/areas listed or any suggestions on others I may have missed.

National University of Singapore-I like that it's safe and clean but I don't know how I would like it being hot and humid all year.

University of Seville-I've spent some time in Madrid and I really enjoyed Spain and the language seems easy enough.

University of Amsterdam-Well it is Amsterdam and I am 22. I've spent a week here and I did really love the place. Especially cars being rather unnecessary.

International University of Monaco-It's small and in an area with a lot of money and business. Better chances for networking?

I had some more but I didn't write them down and I can't remember their names right now

I am always amazed of people speaking 5 languages, who are able to save 50,000 within a couple of years (does that mean 2 years, as the British often imply?), and who have the opportunity of working as a contractor in Iraq with probably little if no (tertiary) education at all. When I was 22 things were clearly different... I had many many years of French and English classes at school but could not claim to speak these languages really.

I have a friend at uni in Hong Kong and whilst the language the course was taught in was English the class would frequently revert to Cantonese or Mandarin if a complicated explanation of something was needed and also the students spoke to each other in their own language too...so there was little room for integration.
You will need a good level of knowledge in the language of whatever country before you decide to live there. Even if your course is offered in English it doesn't mean the rest of the university uses English...

Temple University isn't technichally a foreign school, but my sister attended Temple University Japan. It might be an option for you.

I agree with what swisswife said. You want to be sure to look into how fluent the other students are in English, as well as how well the surrounding community speaks English.

Of the schools you listed, Amsterdam might be the best for avoiding communication barriers (the Dutch are said to have the best English of all non-native speakers).

And because you speak both English and Hindi, universities in India may be worth looking into.

I live in a town where many of the Americans who attend school in Seville come to vacation. From listening to them attempting to have conversations with each other, I would suggest that you cross it off the list.
