Well - you said what many are prolly thinking...

Boston or San Antonio - I'll take Boston please...
Dallas or NYC - I'll take NYC please...

I think anyone who has actually been to these places would largely agree - that is why the U.S northeast is still the most dense, urban and diverse part of the U.S...4 months of winter - meh..

Green card marriage. We get it.

Let's see, originally from Italy, moved to London. Hated London. Jumped to Australia, then Vancouver. Hated Vancouver. Met your American wife, moved to Seattle. Hated Seattle. Moved again. Man you've been bashing and trolling since 2008 about the places you hate on C-D. For a continuous 6 years non-stop. Get a life dude for real. Or even better: move back to Italy. Nobody invited you to Canada or America.

At these latitudes and on lakes?? No no real great beaches...do not get me wrong the Pacific northwest can have stunningly beautiful coastline landscapes...mountains, vegetation, etc....but the fact there is a sandbar is totally indifferent there could be flattish rocks it would not make any difference...the elements that make a great and livable beach are not there....conversely, Hawaii for example, can have very lousy beaches (murky and dangerous waters, wind, sand consistency, etc...) with beautiful surrounding scenery...a tropical locale does not make automatically a beach great.

Saturno_v,

Keep up the great posts! It is great to see someone who is willing to look at things objectively, rather than painting somewhere as only perfect, or only horrible!

Yes but by your logic you "are not even American" either. Considering you have multiple citizenships, an immigrant background and have lived and been raised in six countries I think Saturno_v clearly has a much better claim on being American than you. You really don't have room to call him a "wannabe American".
