Again, not at all trying to knock Paris, but that's just my honest opinion.
I personally like London, Paris and New York equally. If I were wealthy enough, I'd have apartments in all 3 cities. I don't even think you can say one is better or worse than the other. All 3 are cosmopolitan, historic and if you find yourself bored in any of them, you're probably a boring wanker who belongs in Milton Keynes counting roundabouts and concrete cows.

I've never been to London or Paris, but they would have to be pretty spectacular to equal New York. That place is on another level in terms of cities, nowhere else compares. It's a universe unto itself.

Both are spectacular...trust me on that. Each has their own qualities.

I like Los Angeles, wonderful place, if I choosen where to live, would have lived there. In Russia, St. Petersburg is much better than Moscow, I think so.

I've been to a good number of those cities and lived in Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore.

For me hands down my favorite of all is Singapore.

Hong Kong is also amazing and probably my second favorite but I really don't see myself living there for more than a few months.

In the list, I love : Paris, Tokyo, LA, Rome, Beijing. London as well but I hate its climate.

I'd love to visit Sydney.

It isn't hard to think that London and Paris can be as good as New York. All are HUGE, have plenty to do, good music scenes, New York has Broadway, London has the West End, all have diverse populations, all are capitol cities etc.

Even though I haven't visited the most of the cities on the list (sans Washington DC (I live near it), Los Angeles, NYC) and have yet to go overseas, I have a distinct feeling that London probably might be my most favorite city in the world, especially since I have strong fascination with the place that rivals my fascination with New York.
