Where some ppl live do they happen to see more lighter toned AAs than darkskinned ones?

Most AAs are variying degrees of brownskin like most blackfolk the world over but we do have alot of lightskin and very dark people too..I wouldn't say AAs are lighter than blackfolk from Africa cause there are certain African ethnic groups are on average have equal if not more lightskin people than AAs..but I can't emphasize enough how the vast majority of AAs are brownskinned not light.

And no, they did not feel it was wrong, they did not think in our modern ways, like as if Africans were selling fellow Africans. To them it was more like in Europe, where the various peoples fought each other despite being Europeans.

You got to keep things in context...The places the European got theri slaves from where colonies of European countries so it's not like Africans that allegedly sold other Africans had much choice even if true...It was basically either our ancestors or them.

True but for the most part of AAs history in this country due inpart to laws against IR and own personal prefrences we have been and to a large degree(though sadly it looks to be increasing) hesistant to mate outside the race.

I think studies show the average black American is around 20% European. Don't quote me on that . I'm not sure "how much of a mix" is necessary to influence physical appearance either.
And those studies are absolute rubbish that should be taken with a grain of salt..There are similar pseudo science studies that claim modern arab Egyptians have more African/black genes than black ass Somalis whom supposebly according to studies are genetically closer to Swedish people than fellow black Africans.

I usually can tell the difference between African Americans and Africans. They tend to carry themselves differently and have a completely different "vibe".

I mix up Africans with Haitians a lot though, they look the same in my opinion. African Americans seem to resemble Jamaicans a lot, and to a lesser extent, some Black South African populations.

FALSE. Most Black/African Americans are NOT mixed with anything. One of the biggest lies and misconceptions is "everyone is mixed with everything"...that is false.

In order for "everyone" to be mixed with "something" would mean that ALL the people who were here hundreds of years ago had sexual relations with each other.

I really wish people would stop spreading that lie. Everyone is NOT mixed with something.

I think you are having difficulties interpreting statistics.

Do you realise how long your own family tree is, if you go back far enough? Now think of how big and complicated the family trees of everyone else is. Even if there not much mixing going on, some of that mixing would have transmitted to a lot of people. Like how most English people can trace their ancestry back to some King.

Never trust a statistic that is racially motivated.
