The "Black black" designation would be towards a person of African ancestry that has very big lips, very dark skin and a flat nose.

A dark skinned indian would be an Indian with the side remark like "Black indian" or indeed "black black"

At my school Africans that are very dark skinned were called "blik" e.g. Too black to be called black so they had to make up a word instead.
It was obviously an insult.

I see
Lol too black to be called black so funny
In France, we call very dark skin "blue skin" but it's not an insult and it's more about color not facial features.

What about if someone is light skin with big lips and flat nose, is he just called "black" ?

Why blue skin? Hmm.

A light skinned black person are called well light skinned or "A confused Black person" ok I made that up but I can imagine people saying that.

The admixture thing is pretty dumb to mention considering your average African American does not look mixed in any way shape or form. People act like the admixture in the diaspora is so unique or the reason to separate us entirely from Africa? Some of you act like people are not mixed with North Africans and Arabs in Africa.

Nobody is saying East Africans or the Fulani are not African because they have Eurasian admixture. I feel like when people separate African Americans from their homeland it is an agenda. It is like you rather black Americans feel like they are not connected to anything and should stick to a subconsciously insecure state of slavery or something.

20% white doesn't stop me from being black. My race is INDIGENOUS to Africa. So your argument is invalid.
What I don't get is black people ignoring their white heritage.

Well I actually get quite offended. Like I see people on TV from America and they have one white parent yet they call themselves African American.

A hello what happened to the white heritage aswell. I won't be pleased if my nephews denounce their heritage.

Ohhhhh

Your talking about when one of their parents are white then yes they should feel proud of both and acknowledged both. Over here its different.

In the US there's something called the "one drop rule" google it, that will answer your question.

In summary its basically during American history people with African/black blood would be excluded and grouped with the Africans even if they were half white/European. So it stems from that.

For example Obama is mixed race but people say he's black.

Yea thats what I mean. It actually annoys me because it kind of comes across as if they think they are better than white people. If I was mixed race I would embrace both heritages as I would be made of two cultures not one clearly.

If I was a white parent and my kid was mixed race and didn't acknowledge my heritage I would be really hurt because then they would not acknowledge me and my family. Barack Obama is the main person who I have noticed doing this and I have to say it annoys me when he says that he is African American.. I mean what happened to his mothers heritage? Did that just disappear?

How can you compare someone having a white parent with someone having a very far (at least 100 years ago) white ancestry ?
That's not the same at all, hello !!!!
