Haven't been to every country, but the ones I have been in, the nightlife is WAY better in Europe; BUT the restrooms are WAYYYYYY better in the USA!
Really!? A lot of Americans complain that you gotta pay for the restrooms in Europe, but I have never seen a dirty restroom. As a matter of fact, most restrooms I have been to are actually pretty nice. Nicer than my bathroom. lol.

Well, the ones you don't have to pay for? But again, I haven't been to every big city over there....just a handful.
Why does everyone talk of the US like it does not have great nightlife. Only NY, LA, and Miami??? What about: Las Vegas, San Francisco, DC, Philly, New Orleans, Atlanta, Chicago? You guys must not get around alot. I say it's different, not necessarily better but just different.
Both Europe and America have all types of bars and clubs, but I think the main difference is Europe has more of a party culture. On Friday and Saturday nights, the best of American nightlife is as great as the best of Europe. The main difference I noticed is that European cities are much more active at night throughout the week than most American cities. Also, in the US, the only cities you can really stay out at clubs very late is NY, Miami, Vegas, New Orleans, and Chicago. In Europe, you can stay out till sunrise in so many more cities.
Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Stockholm, and Berlin had the best nightlife in my honest opinion. Be sure not to miss out on those!
