Food ? Western food is common here.. Though we still eat a lot Asian food...

Sorry yeah I meant to say the more native hawker food culture. Of course Singapore has tons of western food, including fast food...

Why would he make himself silly by stating such an obvious untruth? lol

Hmm honestly speaking if Anton Casey's comments was made by a true blue Singaporean no one would bat an eyelid.. It became a big deal cos he is an expat.. Agree ?

Yes...Singapore attracts ppl for the money and lifestyle so it's not surprising it would attract those types...a lot of Singaporeans are like that too, although many aren't of course.

Not many American chains here, other than the usual suspects - Maccas, K-Fry etc. The Starbucks in town shut down, couldn't handle the competition.
