I know South Africa is a crime ridden cesspool with a racist past, but there is just something about the place that intrigues me. Its incredible natural beauty, vibrant cultural diversity (10% Dutch White, 5% British White, 10% Indian/ Pakistani, 20% Black/ White mix, and 65% Black African), and reputation for friendliness. If they get their crime rate under control I would love to travel there sometime in the future
1-Vietnam--to see Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, and the Northern Highlands
2-Bolivia--to hike from the Andes to the sub-tropical Yungas
3-Poland--to visit my mother's ancestral homeland and to visit Krakow and the High Tatras.
4-The Balkans including the Croatian coastline and Bosnia-Herzegovina (Mostar and Sarajevo)
5-The central islands of Indonesia including Bali, Flores, and Komodo(and to see a Komodo Dragon in the wild)
Also, I'd love to visit Cape Verde off the coast of Africa...The islands are similar to Hawaii in their isolation and the culture is an Afro-Portugese mix like Brazil.

South Africa is gorgeous. Just be careful where you go - get out of Jo'burg as fast as possible after landing at the airport. Clarens is fantastic! Low crime as well as gorgeous.

Don't worry, I barely have enough money to travel most places my own country - I've never been more than an 11 hour drive away from Central Kentucky. I'm talking about a ZA trip in maybe 20 years, one of those once in a lifetime trips. At the rate their homicide rate is declining it will be safer than Louisiana or Mississippi by then
1. Scotland (this place will always be my #1)
2. Greece
3. France
4. Italy
5. Germany (would say Ireland, but been surfing youtube and I'm amazed at how many Germans can speak Thai/Lao, and with the proper accent. So Germany gets my #5 for that.)
England/Scotland
Dublin Ireland
France
Bahamas
Australia
Italy
All I can think of that I truly wanna visit
Hawaii (Maybe)
