australians seem to be very big on travel, and it seems fairly common for australians to have visited east or southeast asia or europe.

I know there are more. But, in listening to the accents, languages and talking to people, I've seen a lot of Australians, Germans and Japanese.

If a person goes to Quebec in the first two weeks of October, there are chartered jumbo jets flying from Japan to Montreal to bring Japanese tourists for the peak fall colors. They never cease to amaze me - they are so well-mannered and never rambunctious.

Given the number of Dutch license plates one sees all over western Europe, Dutch have to be up there.

Totally subjective. But the nationalities whom I've met the most of, travelling mostly here in Australia and Asia (although I have been to the US I didn't do the backpacking thing as much):

British
German
Canadian
French
Irish
Korean
Dutch
Italian
Japanese
American
Kiwi

Australians too, of course, are very common in much of SE Asia, Europe and parts of N. America.

I agree most Israelis travel either after their compulsory army service or after graduating from college before settling down. You can usually find Israeli tourists in all parts of the world.
