I disagree with you(Actually not just disagree. It's simply not true), but what about Germany?

List of countries by foreign-born population in 2005 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Or Austria or Spain. France and the U.K. is all that you can think of.. huh..
---

Spain is wasted, from 0 foreign born population to 10% or 15% in less than 10 years. Most are people that do not have anything to do with our culture.

England is worse, the only difference is that immigrants arrived 40 or 50 years ago and many were born there. At least you don't have a VERY SERIOUS problem with North Africans. They are invading this country again after they were kicked out, slaughtered and burned at the stake during a 800 year war. Really pathetic..... We need some new Holy Inquisition, but this time leaving aside British Heathens in Costa del Sol.

Then they wouldnt be immigrants would they? If a person is born and raised in a country, he is a citizen and not an immigrant. Do you consider a non-spanish background person, born and raised in your country an immigrant?

I still can't believe people are arguing the case for the USA. The US is classically known for it's slow catch up to tolerance and it still has stark visible segregation in even its' largest most "cosmopolitan" cities. The US is a large country and true certain areas of the country may as well be another world compared to another...however considering the country and society as a whole you could never place it next to the nordic countries and the rest of western europe when it comes to tolerance in general. Europe absolutely has its exceptions and is not short of issues regarding ethnic blending, immigration, culture preservation etc. but western europe soars ahead of the USA in terms of tolerance and broader education...the two being intrinsically linked for obvious reasons. You cannot understand someone else' way of life if you have a poor understanding of the world around you...which unfortunately is true for the large part of american society.

Canada is ahead of western Europe, thats a fact, the US North Est is ahead too.
Go to Toronto and than Paris for instance, its miles ahead in term of tolerance of other ethnic minorities and gays.

i think its us, i know i know u say sweden or norway or france, but here is why i say that
they still got the good life but we are losing it fast. if u dont have money and u r still tolerant of bad behavior this says much about your character.
those that are doing the bad behavior and demanding tolerance need to straighten up and fly right.

Public support for gay marriage, depending on who you believe, is around 40-60%, and this is a much less religious population than the US.

Sydney and Melbourne are the equivalent of LA/SF and NY. The two biggest, most progressive and liberal cities.
except NYC (not just a few select neighborhoods) and SF are about as far apart as you can get when it comes to pro(re)gressivism.

If it was like you say it to be, why are they still there? Is someone forcing them to stay?
