Judging from the fashion forum on C-D it is the male body that is obscenity incarnate...people raging if guys wear what are now called "speedo" style bathing suits, or if men walk around without a towel wrapped around them in a locker room or if a man's shorts are above the knee even!!!
Extraordinarily bizarro to a guy who grew up in the supposedly conservative and prudish Nineteen Fifties.
For the most part I think people rarely get naked except to have sex for the most part in North America.
A guy walking around the locker room without a towel with his wiener dangling and waving in the wind is uncomfortable for a lot of people.
Speedos are just weird it's like advertising the size of the package.
Oh god cubist boobs! Blur them! Blur them before the kids turn into sex adicts!
Ridiculous! There are porn videos airing on certain free TV channels here (mostly at night) ffs. They are hard to find as they are far back but a kid still could find them and they aren't blurred. Same goes for a few shows in the evening (Le Iene comes to mind) who often show boobs if not more

The South in the USA is more socially conservative on things like nudity. I went to school went women who attended certain churches who taught that women couldn't wear pants and had to wear loose fitting ankle long dresses. That's how the now infamous Kim Davis (anti gay marriage clerk in Kentucky) dresses. I've noticed in the Deep South you see fewer mini skirts and tight fitting clothes than where I live in the Mid South / Midwest.

Ha!
In Spain they've copied a reality show where they put naked people on an island and I guess they just flirt? All I know is they were showing the ads for the show in all of it's uncensored glory during daytime.
Truth be told, this is far from the norm... But I didn't hear much of a fuss.

In the US we have a series called Dating Naked I watched one or two episodes not very interesting though.
There is also a survival show called Naked and Afraid that one I like.
People in USA associate naked with porn. Some have gone so far as to argue that it may not be possible to portray the naked body in art without offending its dignity. Only a pervert and sexual predator could walk around the locker room without towel, with his wiener dangling and waving in the wind
Most people think that those individuals need to be reported&locked, and registered as sex offenders for life.
Sex offenders living in the United States are bound by multiple policies, including registration, community notification, monitoring via a global positioning system, civil commitment, and residency, loitering, and Internet restrictions. Their residency restrictions are so severe that they are essentially banished from living anywhere in the city. (in most cases)
Acquiring appropriate employment for sex offenders presents formidable obstacles.
So, yes - indecent exposure laws in most states make it a crime to purposefully display one's genitals in public, causing others to be alarmed or offended. In the US indecent exposure can land you on the sex offender registry....
