Thanks. Portland ME looks quaint, lovely lighthouse.
I can't do hot summers, so Melbourne is out.
Vancouver is actually a downright lovely city. Just have to be making a lot of money.

Well in Australia Hobart does not have long hot summers. It is in Tasmania and has a population of 200 000 people. I been there before and it is very laid back and not far from forests and lakes as well as the beaches.
