Recently a friend of mines, about 6"1 came back from Germany. He stayed there for 2 months and managed to get about 4 dates, he is now dating a good looking Blonde (they are in a long distance relationship now). He is Korean American.
I live in San Francisco and have had difficulties getting dates due to my ethnicity, a lot of women have openly told me "your indian? well I mean you are a decent guy but no way I would date you".
I wanted to know this, do Western European women and American women have similar tastes in men or are they different?
A guy who looks like this would have a VERY tough time in the US, but how would he do in say France or Italy?
I think this is more a genetics question than nationality. You cannot judge likes purely by which continent you come from. Everyone has different likes and dislikes, what I may like, some other girl may not like.

A pre-feminist type of man. The type is about to become extinct and it is too bad. The British used to produce some amazing representatives of this type. They can still pull it off, here and there...but the type is surely harder and harder to find anywhere.
I think a guy like that would be considered attractive in my home country of Scotland? Why not? We have all types of guys here too. Especially a large Indian population!
As for Spain, the majority of them are tanned and very like that guy, lots of men where I live are very toned, seems to be the norm to keep fit and look good.

This is a sad OP. I can't imagine what the problem is with Indians in San Francisco. The guy in the photo looks like he would have women chasing after him.
I wonder if there might not be an issue with the traditions in India? Maybe women think that if they marry an Indian, they'd end up locked into a very traditional role? There are Indians all over Canada, and I haven't noticed that they run into the same problem much. I wonder if you could find a website/forum where they hang out and you could discuss it? I had an Indian housemate once, he was perfectly nice. I can't imagine what the problem would be, except maybe the one suggestion above. btw, InfoGuy here says he gets girls. You could message him. He lives not too far from you.
BTW, you posted a very similar thread to this elsewhere, and I answered your question. According to several members here, Indian guys do much better in Europe. They say Korean guys do, too.
