Well, sure we do but there is a big difference here. Racists are considered to be SKUM by the large majority of the people. Racists generally keep their ignorant thoughts to themselves because if they share them they might as well go live in a cave someplace because they become outcasts in a society that rejects them and their hate.

That's good to hear. In America it's right out there in the open.

LOL! Sounds like you need to travel more. Maybe try getting out internationally and see what the world is like. Might even give you new perspective on your troubles.

You can't escape racism. It's everywhere in the world.

You may not be able to escape it but you can live in a society where the vast majority REJECT it. You can live in a place where racists are considered beneath contempt. You can live in a place where children are taught in School right from the begining that racism is the lowest of the low. You can live in a country where racism is a crime when it is overtly applied to anyone.

The big difference between different places is that when racism is tolerated, exused, rationalized and denied like it is in the USA it will always be a large festering sore on the fabric of the nation.

On the other hand when you have a public policy of zero tolerance, no excuses, being held personally responsible for your words and acts like here in Canada, racism diminishes a bit every year until it's almost gone.

There is racism in Canada, even in Ontario, but it's true that it's not acceptable at all. Sometimes, though, I feel like the myth of the multi-cultural paradise is exaggerated in the minds of the people and that there is in fact a little more racism under the surface then some folks would like to acknowledge. Still not a very racist place though.

Now, I didn't post here and mention a bunch of places because there is racism there, but not racism against blacks. I think you will find Belize, Jamaica, and Mauritius to your liking.

Depends on which areas of Africa. Gabon is more rich than Mexico, Romania, Turkey and Bulgaria. The African countries Botswana and Namibia get richer and developing pretty quick. Those African countries have excellent future ahead of them.
