New Zealand, of course. You can always add Switzerland to another trip, but you don't pass by New Zealand very often

As New Zealand is much further away and therefore more expensive if you have the opportunity, I too with say "New Zealand" (rather than Switzerland).

I enjoyed Switzerland but don't think I'd go back. Would definitely check out NZ!

Go to New Zealand. It may be further and more expensive but it so worth it. So much to see and the people there are really friendly as well, it has lakes and mountains like Swizerland and unlike Swizerland has some really nice beaches. Swizterland would be great of course and much to see but the people I find more reserved than New Zealanders.

Without hesitation and with no doubts, I easily select Switzerland.

Switzerland has a lot more to offer for an international visitor. It has more of a balance with the mountainous nature scenery, and the urban amenities/urban vibrancy in the cities/towns such as Zurich and Geneva. Swiss culture is more intriguing to me than New Zealand culture.

However, don’t confuse Australia with New Zealand because I enjoy and respect Australia a lot more than New Zealand from what I know about that country.

If the trip was Australia+New Zealand vs. Switzerland, it would be an exact tie and an equally exciting, and inviting trip.

Also, if Australia vs. Switzerland, that would also be a tie for how good they are for international visitors.

New Zealand still has some nice features and qualities about it, but I just see it in a lower category compared to at least 40 countries.

From your location in the USA, Switzerland is a lot closer in geographic distance, still a lot cheaper, and more easily accessible to go there compared to New Zealand.

New Zealand, because it has all the same terrain of Switzerland, plus ocean. Now what could be better than that?

its not really a balanced choice , switzerland or austria , perhaps , switzerland or bavaria in germany , perhaps

bar being mountanous , the countrys dont have very much in common

ive never been to switzerland but a close relative lived there for a year , found it very predictable and boring and extremley expensive , scenery is top notch though

if you want to compare new zealand to any other country , its scotland every time , from the look of the place to the people

I'd go with New Zealand. The locals are much more hospitable and warm than the people in Zurich or Geneva.
